All scholarships aside from the sports scholarship are publicized in the spring (April) of each semester in the Daily Nation and The Standard, the two most important daily newspapers in Kenya. Every year, the selection/interview procedure takes place in July during the summer semester, and the scholarship recipients are informed of their status in September during the fall semester.

In Kenya, the country with the largest economy in the East African Community, there is a private university called United States International University Africa, or USIU Africa.
The institution has received accreditation from both the Western Association of Schools and Colleges and the Kenyan Commission for Higher Education (CUE) (WASC) Nairobi, Kenya's capital and largest city, is home to the university campus. It is situated in the Roysambu neighborhood of the Kasarani neighborhood. By road, this area is around 12 kilometers (7 miles) northeast of Nairobi's core business center.
Aims and Benefits of USIU-Africa Sports Scholarships.
Freshman Sports Scholarship;
For students majoring in sports fields pertinent to the demands of the university's sports programs, this grant will cover 40% of tuition only. During the summer (May) semester, this is advertised in high schools, at pertinent sporting events, and by sporting organizations. At the conclusion of the summer semester, this is processed, and awards are given during the fall (September) semester. Students having national level certifications are given preference.
Successful applicants receive the scholarship upon admission, and it is renewable provided that the students meet all requirements.
Scholarships in Sports for Continuing Students.
For continuing students who are not eligible for the sports scholarship for freshmen, this scholarship covers solely the cost of tuition at a rate of 25%.
Qualification Standards for USIU-Africa Sports Scholarships.
All additional Financial Aid application guidelines and specifications must be followed by applicants.
- Indicate a need for money.
- Must continue to be registered for a minimum of 9 and a maximum of 12 units, and must maintain a GPA of 2.0.
- Become an athlete on your school's team.
- to have the Sports Activities Coordinator and the appropriate team patron recommend you.
- Take part in all team athletic activities.

- Certified copies of the pertinent credentials from the principal or head teacher.
- Leaving Certificate from School.
- a letter of support from the high school's head teacher or principal.
- A statement of purpose describing your history and desired degree.
- Motives for applying for the scholarship.
