Qualification Standards for Undergraduate Scholarships at Kansas State University

International freshman with a high school GPA of 3.75 to 4.00 are eligible for the International Excellence Scholarship (or above).

  • These scholarships are open to all accepted international undergraduates who are degree-seeking. You will be automatically considered for, and may win, all three awards if you apply.
  • Before the deadline specified below, send a personal statement by email to intladmit@ksu.edu in order to be considered for a scholarship. Please include both your Wildcat ID (WID), which is specified on your acceptance letter, and your full name as it appears on your passport.
  • What will you bring to the K-State community as a student? should be the focus of the 500-word maximum personal statement. Although the statement must be in English, your level of proficiency will not be taken into account.

As all award amounts and criteria are dependent on the availability of funds and are subject to change, please be aware that satisfying the eligibility requirements for a scholarship does not ensure that you will get one. Plan to submit your application before the priority application deadline associated with your entering term to be considered for the entire scholarship.
